Bobby Gerhart in the Lucas Oil Chevrolet finished 7th in the Pocono 200 at the Pocono Raceway. After starting 14th, Bobby was on the move early posting in the top 10 by lap 15. The car was really working well as pit stops for tires and fuel on lap 20 and 42 found Bobby in the top 5. With 25 to go on lap 55, The BGR team suffered a bad break as the transmission in the # 5 broke and was stuck in high gear. All the team could do is nurse the broken transmission to the end. Bobby crossed the line in 7th, his 3rd top ten in a row. Congrats to the LUCAS OIL TEAM for a good finish at Pocono.
